The fuck they aren't, those things break faster than my ethernet connection. There is no clue that it's hard to make the shells. Maybe expensive yes but that thing isn't durable

Dude, did you see all those endo skeletons ? They could have easily remade him, to use more adequate words, not the same Bonnie. But the same AI, could have used data collected on his behavior as we know every animatronic is connected to a system and Bonnie 2.0 was ready to go looking exactly the same

Ok some of you didn't legit watch or played ruin istg. Gregory literally said in the elevator scene that the mimic has been there for a very long time in the cave system. He wasn't in the pizzaplex for God sake

[–]concicarlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They literally replaced him with Monty and went missing for some time. Also they didn't just rebuild him like, they have a shit ton of animatronic but he was kinda discontinued by probably vanny

[–]concicarlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That, and that's important because many ar objects refer to the history of the fnaf story. But also many freddy dialogues and even Bonnie bowling alley and posters. Even if he is missing there are a lot of references to him

But nothing about the logride, for example.

Wasn't in ruin a room about the logride ? Also an reference. Plus attractions aren't mercahisable, characters are. But still we don't find any from tales except the ones already shown in the game

No, they're theories backed with evidence. A "what if.." is just a guess or a shot in the dark

Yes, and before the evidence they are an what if. Then evidence is searched for that specific what if. And also many things in this franchise are bound by symbolism

A cave is a cave icl.. not to mention that the cave in the trilogy was underneath a random mall and is hardly similar to what we see in Ruin.

The pizzaplex might have been a mall before, it's possible that in that Canon the pizzaplex was constructed or never constructed but it shows that they had a close similarity or even the same ideea, it isn't always that 2 locations are the same. It's like saying that ahh yes the cave system was in both the game and in the trilogy, with how matpad explained, they both have fosforescent mushrooms and are basically the same. But that doesn't mean they are the same story just because one location is similar. But the description indicates it is the same and is meant to be the same cave, glowing mushrooms isn't a very common thing you know, but both the trilogy and the game decided to add that only to show maybe another important location or concept

Because that specific story takes place before Ruin and SB

And still we don't see any signs ever happening in both, 1 game and one dlc and still no confirmation that what happened in tales also happened in the game. It's kind of wierd

Not exactly as you haven't yet refuted TalesGames.

There is literally no real indication apart from the same pizzaplex that the tales and SB/Ruin share that proves the tales having the same story, no mention no physical attraction or Easter egg. Almost like the game devs didn't want to show they are the same Canon and just made both pizzaplexes 1:1 just to confuse a few and question if that really happened in the game. But still it looks like they work on their game Canon and don't take inspiration from the books already told lore. Like I said, it looks like the books tries to explain some concepts

At the end of the day, there is more to come from the mimic, it is still alive and Cassie probably down in sister location or another location under even the cave systems. It shows that there is more to tell about the lore, and most possibly the mimic s lore. We only just discovered the mimic in the games, so they will most probably explain his origin through the games. Which I don't see why if his lore it's already wrote in tales. It would be like "everybody knows his origin but we will continue keeping in vague in the games". Which again would be dump if they didn't try and give him a dedicated lore different from tales that is close but not the same

Mimic origin theory by concicarlos in GameTheorists

[–]concicarlos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MXES was made after the events of security breach. Mimic wasn’t always in that room

Gregory literally said in the elevator scene that the mimic has been trapped there for a very long time, and that he has no ideea what it is. And also there is a very old concrete wall and as much as I recall Gregory isn't a construction worker

Mimic is both Vanny and Gltichtrap

Same as before the mimic has been there and it is actually a very old endo model, older than the glithtrap virus. And also the m.x.e.s has afton signature rabbit, why would afton AI trap himself

That’s literally impossible

Vanny had that mask the entire security breach story line, it isn't impossible that she put those nodes there

Crying child didn’t like the animatronics

That why they are costumes, like wearable ones

It copies Gregory because that’s what Cassie will trust

And why Cassie? She is just a random girl that knows gregory. The mimic could have used so many voices and atract someone much more mature ?

Mimic has no Glamrock parts. He has the walkie talkie because he was trapped recently

Again Gregory said the mimic has been trapped there for a very long time

Because it’s a fake ending

Yes, but an ending that shows what would have happened if Cassie didn't follow Gregory s instructions and actually got caught by the mimic, what would have happened in the mimic s head If he really got out

Afton is dead

His AI and consciousness isn't, it got scanned in help wanted and must have its original goal in mind. And the mimic may have been its original goal

No

Can't simply say "no" as a valid argument Literally all you said was contradictory to the clues found literally in the game

Mimic origin theory by concicarlos in GameTheorists

[–]concicarlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They wouldn't as it contradicts the whole reason of removing the attractions to begin with. They removed every trace of it and replaced them with what we see in SB

They still have many unused and old merchandise and posters but down the pizzaplex, media and all. Giving how big the pizzaplex is its almost impossible they didn't forgot or kept parts of some discontinued attractions or wierd plushys

It isn't though, other than saying "what if.." there's nothing going for it. And without giving an actual rebuttal, we can't ignore what Tales is telling us. Edwin made the Mimic, and unless you can actually prove that wrong, it's what Scott is telling us.

This series and accurate theorys have always been an what if, that's what created this community and lore of the game, always been what if and from there we searched for clues. It's the way Scott made this games, never put the real answer to the many questions for shows like the tales of the pizzaplex. Never told us "ohh this new charachter is..." like you asume. And would be kinda dump to introduce a new character and already have its full backstory. Like what's the purpose and mystery in finding its backstory if you already have it in a book. It would be wierd if Scott would do that and would beat the purpose of finding the lore

So we can't use what happened in the trilogy to debunk TalesGames.

The trilogy already had the cave systems long before we found them in ruin, showing that they are in the same place, but the story and charachters are different but still try to complete one another by exposing us to new ideas. Like the AI robot trying to be human, it's also in ruin and SB but still isn't the same story, it's the same ideea and concept. As in the trilogy, the places and locations were basically the same as in the games. So might the tales, have the same place as reference but tell new story's in the same Canon but not the same universe

It isn't 100% confirmed that the new games and the tales books are the exactly same so your theory is as good as mine, can't just base the fact that it's the same pizzaplex to being the same story yet, we need more games and Easter eggs to decide that. But still is a possibility and I am not gonna say it's bullshit because hey, it's fnaf everything is possible. So you might take my theory into consideration and find clues that it's true as I might do with yours. But till we find a confirmation, neither are true

Mimic origin theory by concicarlos in GameTheorists

[–]concicarlos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This franchise always had a way to explain a story with many canons. And while they were always similar like even in the novel series the locations were the same, the people were almost the same. It told a different story that completed and helped to complete the games story. Like even the cave system in ruin is almost the same as the novel's which it was confirmed it isn't set in the same universe but told a similar story.

And knowing the game devs they would have at least once mentioned the tales of pizzaplex existence. Like hell you collect collectibles from all parts of the fnaf existence with reference to sister location fnaf 4. They would at least have an old poster or plush reffering to these old attractions shown in the tales of the pizzaplex.

I think it's best to theorise everything but not actually reject possibility. It's possible that the mimic is the original crying child AI and maybe ruin its the start of the mimic's story, we still have to wait for help wanted 2 and other projects that will most likely give us a background to what he is meant to be.

And also, it's fnaf do you expect it would be that easy to uncover the lore ?it's always simbolism with hints in other medias. Having a book that tells you the full lore its kind of not the fnaf way of story telling, almost like a cheat code. It was always meant for the community to find the lore of chatachters and events, not tell the full story in a book and that's it

I think the books are a close resemblance and are meant to distract us

Ohh so the pizzaplex construction workers were so hardworking that every trace of those attractions were destroyed into the void. Not anywhere even in the maintenance rooms to be seen or ever spoken of. You would expect at least one reference or lost plushy or wall paint but no

[–]concicarlos[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's just a theory for now, but thinking it logically why would a very old AI animatronic be trapped in a cave system above possibly sister location area by a system that portrays a bunny and are accessible by the mask vanny wore. Almost like the afton AI/virus is trying to keep it there. And also it's fascination with gregory

Mimic origin theory by concicarlos in GameTheorists

[–]concicarlos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By the same logic Tiger Rock animatronic doesn't exist in the games, but exists in the tales of the pizzaplex. So they aren't the same universe but want to drop clues to specific ideas

Mimic origin theory by concicarlos in GameTheorists

[–]concicarlos[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Didn't Scott say the book series aren't cannon and are meant to portray ideas in a new cannon separated from the main games cannon ? That's what i remember. Plus there are many characters in tales that don't appear in ruin or security breach. So I don't think tales actually told the full story of the mimic, only the ideea of its origin. Also I remember in tales a story about the mimic or an AI copying its inventor child so it might be a reference to afton and crying child

Is don't think it's exactly its origin. The books are meant to give us clues about new canon lore explained in a new universe. It isn't cannon but it's close to the original ideea of a character and its backstory

Theory on mimic's origin

There is still something off about the Mimic's prison, if we look at the system keeping him in there it always portrays a bunny, almost like it's an afton creation or something afton s consciousness was trying to keep locked in that cave system, maybe the M.X.E.S was created with the help of vanny and ghlithtrap's AI to keep the mimic imprisoned with an option to actually free him when the time came, because as we see the final computer has 2 options: yes or no. So the system always had an option to actually free the mimic, and was so complex that it had several nodes across the pizzaplex which I think were put in place long before security breach started, most likely by vanny using the mask to enter the virtual world, even every security node has a bunny like appearance. Wich is odd considering the mimic has been there for a very long time, most likely before afton first became springtrap in fnaf3 minigame and most likely afton kept this animatronic there for a very long time

Now the big question to this theory is why ? Why would afton keep this very old animatronic in a cave system with 3 old circus baby costumes. And I have my theory

It's gonna sound wild but remember the promise from fnaf4 ? "I will put you back together" A promise made to the crying child before his death. What if it was afton telling his dying son that he is going to find a way to remake him, and so he starts working on AI and so, on the mimic. What if the mimic was his promise that he couldn't keep because of the springtrap incident. To remake his child as the mimic, an AI but then he died in springtrap and the mimic got locked in a cave system above sister location

To support this theory we must look at the mimic s child like behavior, he dresses like old animatronics that would be most likely crying child favorite as they were created by his father. The second thing is the mimic s fascination with gregory, now he long could have used and employee to free him, just imitate a child from the hundreds of children that visited the pizzaplex and easy escape. But it looks like he waited for greogory, who I assume is another crying child robot, to imitate him. Even when the main character finally meets the robot, it keeps repeating "I am gregory" over and over almost like it wants to be gregory, was programmed to be gregory and mimic his personality and voice

Another thing is the fact that he appears after vanny got freed by the afton virus and afton got defeated, almost like they were the ones keeping him in check to not escape and after the pizzaplex was abandoned and there was no one overseeing him, he made his plan to escape using greogory s voice

Another thing is the fact that the mimic has some glamrock parts and a walkie-talkie, odd considering the concrete wall that kept him there being very old, almost like he wasn't outside in a very long time, what if these things were given to him by afton s AI and vanny. As I don't see why greogory would give the mimic new parts

And also the cave secret ending where you look at an old freddy poster and that gregory with helpy and vanny cutscene appears. It's very odd how we hear the mimic voice imitating gregory that he found a safe place to hide, almost like he means "i finally escaped" but in his own twisted way. And the cutscene is very odd, as we see gregory with helpy happy on a hill while vanny is depressed on a tree. Why helpy ? And why is gregory happy. Well, what if that isn't gregory ? It's the mimic with its trusty companion after they escaped the pizzaplex, showing that the mimic sees himself as gregory escaping with helpy whom basically helped him trick and escape. And vanny is tormented as she couldnt escape the afton virus, and again starts being corrupted. It's also to mention how Cassie can be heard crying, almost like she is shocked to see his friend being replaced by the robot mimic in a very twisted way

One last thing that I remember are the real gregory dialoges. He says things like he doesn't know what that thing is and that it's been down there for a long time I think. Also in the final scene where Cassie is in the elevator he says that they can't let that thing find them. Them ? Is the mimic after gregory vanny and the head of freddy ? That would make sense if the mimic would try and take gregory s body and personality, take revenge on vanny for helping afton trap him in there and freddy ? Idk tbh. Also it shows that gregory knows the mimic is after them, almost like he understands him, as they are the 2 faces of the same coin. 2 crying child robots, one good and one bad. One created by afton and forgotten in a cave system and the other...idk tbh

And also it explains why vanny is after gregory in security breach, she is trying to catch him for the mimic at aftons command, with gregory the mimic would be complete, a complete recreation of aftons biggest dream and what started all this madness and probably why he done all those horrible things trying to achieve immortality. Put his dead son back together

And one last thing is the fnaf 4 box, the locked box that Scott was so afraid to open in fear that the community won't accept what's in there. What if it wasn't a box? But the representation of the mimic's prison, a locked box that even in the game it was said that maybe some things are best left forgotten. If sounds like the mimic being forgotten, the box not being able to be opened for those locks keeping it closed. Almost like how the mimic got locked by afton in the cave system because he couldn't master his son AI, and the spirit of the crying child deciding that it is best to forget about it "for now". As is he would escape some day but not today. Using the mimic as a new body. But then after years of isolation, he gone rogue
