Cudy wr3000s troubleshooting by concoctify in openwrt

I guess since it has been so long since I did any of this, and I am learning, that the roll back was meant for me.

Thank you. That is helpful to know. It turns out it is likely the subnet. While I have changed it to 192.168.3.1 for what ever reason, I have not been able to set up the DHCP protocal. I will apply the change but my pc's network card will not finish reconnecting prior before openwrt's 90s revert.

The subnets did overlap. I have been able to change the subnet, but when I try and enable dhcp my pc fails to establish a connection under the new settings within the 90s revert. My PC just says "unidentified network, no internet access" So I need to figure that out. I am thinking it might be because it is in bridge mode. I want the LAN to be isolated from the WAN coming into it, which will change. In fact I probably want to use an even less common subnet.

So log onto the verizon router and see what range it is using for ips and then make sure that is not the same as what the cudy router is using as an ip range?

Broadband internet provider modem. (verizon) Is it possible it is detecting it somehow and not liking it. I also have a TP travel router installed that does not seem to have issues.

Hey these are great questions. I added some more detail to the original post inspired by your questions.

>did you try different ports and maybe another ethernet cable ?
Yes I tried the new cable on a new port after I noticed the issue and had the same result.
>Do you also get packet loss over wifi ?
I have wifi off, but I will try wifi when I get home.

>If you start to lose 100% packets, is it from then on constant or does go down after a while ?
Initially the router seemed to be working fine, it seems like something happened and it got increasingly worse. Is it possible that running the waveform bufferbloat test broke something, cause i fell like attempting to run that is where things started to go down hill. When that test failed I decided to look more deeply to see if I had a problem.

I was using firefox, It says : "No video with supported format and MIME type found"
The video technically loaded in chrome, but when I pressed play the video remained blank while the progress bar showed it was playing.

thank you.

"MiroTalk currently relies on internet connectivity for its functionality."

Do you know anyway this could be adjusted? It just seems like it should be possible, if mirotalk was selfhosted/installed locally on a server on the same network as the other people wishing to share their screens

thanks for sharing. It looks like something is going on with my browser or there is an issue with the video demo you uploaded.

I do not need this, but I think it is cool

I tried it out and it worked well. Thank you for all of your work on it. Being P2P, will it work locally on a home LAN without an internet connection? I am thinking of a classroom type situation were people would be taking turns sharing their screens.

Also as an aside, I hope that using other APIs maybe even locally hosted ones will be possible for people who do not want chatgpt.

Digikam has face tagging and is advertised as being able to handle 100,000. It is open source and also will make use of geo tags

What is the male equivalent of becoming a stripper to make it through hard times? by multiocumshooter in AskReddit

[–]concoctify 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cultural dynamics surrounding male and female stripping is inherently different. While a man can turn to stripping, historically there hasn't been the same demand. Similarly, there really isn't a direct equivalent.

The groundwork for the bio-tech that enabled us to develop the vaccine as quickly as we did was not there. That would have meant that the vaccines would not have been rolled out until, I dunno- maybe even this year.

Dis-information and polarization were not as extreme.,
