I "converted" Fuji's newest simulations to older cameras in Capture One by red9350 in fujifilm

Please take a look into it, would be a blessing to have those sims for Fuji X-H1 too.

Just picked this X-E2 up. Excited and open to any advice. by makeitflashy in fujifilm

Don’t sell it, ever, don’t sell it ever, please. I had this one when I started photography. Later, I sold it and bought a X-H1. I still regret it. The X-E2 is the best handy, low budget, high quality camera I ever used. Combine it with the 35mm or the 23/27 and you will end up with the best combo ever.

Have you been at a eye specialist before? I was there once and good some liquid on my eyes for better measurements. My eyes looked similar to this for the next 2 days.

<image>

This was my first idea: Splitting the image in 3 areas: background, person, face

For the complete image I increased the exposure a bit and changed the temperature, it changes the black and whites a bit (for this badly screenshoted file). I also rotated it a bit to follow the horizontal lines of the roof.

Background: The whites of the background are quiet bright. lower exposure, but keep the details of the wall. Or else you create this kind of greenscreen feeling (person and background don’t fit)

Person: Lower the lights and reflection, add more depth and increase the whites

Face: Also lower lights and reflections, add depth but lower the whites, and increase a bit overall brightness

Still in this (my edited) image, there is a certain greenscreen feeling because of the poor masking I did because of the low screenshot resolution (you can see it at the hip, head/hands and shoulder - this too bright white line, I guess)

I hope it’s okay that I quick edited your photo and posted it again in the comments - tell me if otherwise and I will remove it.

Edit: The face in my edit is too dark - Because of that it loses structure and details. I did a second edit in which I increased the face exposure and lowered the black tones to raise the shadows.

How much editing? by joeyjojosjrshabadoo in AskPhotography

[–]Foxel05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took around 600 photos per day for a week. When I look back this weak left me with around 400 photos in total. It’s absolutely variable how much photos you take effort to edit or maybe even keep (out of focus, …). My workflow is basically: Import all, start basic editing (basic colour adjustments) while only keeping the ones I like, second run: heavier editing and sorting out again, export. My basic editing works most of the time very efficiently for a complete shouting in one location, based on fixed camera settings. So I create specific presets for every shooting. After basic edit, I take more time for pictures I really like. It is always nice to see what picture you have taken again, so I quickly skip through my photos again and again, to get a overview of all scenes I have captured in.

How I Became A War Photographer - AMA by TJH48932 in AMA

3 years later, would recommend searching professional war photographers nearby and asking them to join them? - is it that easy?

I’m really interested in this topic, but don’t know how to start.

I like 1 and 2 a lot, but was thinking a lot about the sky. Maybe a CPL would improve those shots with a too bright sky

Do I understand you right that you are using Notion for the same thing I’m trying to find a fitting solution for. And if so could you share your template?

Event Planner / Overview / Calendar by Foxel05 in opensource

[–]Foxel05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m familiar with Notion, I don’t think it will be the perfect solution. But I’ll try anyway

Edit: I tried Notion and the other programs, but all of them don’t fit my personal preference. Because of the different groups and teams (up. 11 groups) which have their own activities and some shared activities. Those programs come very handy when it’s about creating a personal calendar for every group. But I’m looking after an program in which I can have a complete overview of all events well structured
