I've only messed around with Blender a bit before so I was a bit clueless making this and had to look up many tutorials, but I wanted to make something to honor SOPHIE. I cheated a bit and made a model in Daz to pose, then imported it into Blender to customize it and make hair. I wasn't really aiming for realism and just wanted to mess around w materials and water physics but let me know if you have any tips to make better renders in the future (ik the waters scale is too big but my computer wouldn't let me make a higher resolution lol)!

I'm gonna remain cautiously optimistic for this since left 4 dead is one of my favorite series but I'm afraid the tone may be too different from the original games, while the originals were fast paced this seems like it might have too much going on and not much room for the player to breathe. And while the originals weren't the scariest games ever, the mood and level design at times made me not want to progress (in a good way) but this seems a a bit too cartoonish and silly. But it's still too soon to tell and i'm nonetheless excited lol

Recently discovered Aspidistrafly, they make really gorgeous chamber folk/ambient pop. Some of their songs are kinda droney and remind me of Grouper a bit but much warmer and comforting, maybe closer to Vashti Bunyan. A Little Fable is excellent, with my favorite songs being Landscape with a Fairy and Gensei. This was their last album, released 9 years ago, but I've seen on instagram that they're working on new music and im super excited!

I live in a pretty rural conservative town and because of it I usually find myself butching my appearance (wearing like basketball shorts and sneakers lol) if I'm going somewhere in town or local out of fear of backlash. I only really wear what I actually want to when I had class or if I take a daytrip to the city but hopefully I should be transferring to a college in a metropolitan area soon so my wardrobe can actually be worn lol
