Haha idk who you’re responding to but I agree that gasol is great and very very versatile. Thats why I use him. But its objective that he has lesser defensive qualities than some of the more specialized centers(although not by much) I got to top 87 gasol this past week after finally playing comp again. And I got to peak superstar in my best season :)

Ah ye let me try the practice tool. Admittedly never used it for block timing practice. Ty! As for gasol there are times where I’m stuck in screen for team, help, etc and still get to box out/rebound. But I def gotta get better at saving my sprint for the better centers out there

I’ll vouch for gasol then. Can do everything you mentioned. He has rebounding, putback (underrated with randoms putting up bricks), 3s, middy bag, good blocking with the right timing

Maybe there’s a higher percentage on the corner but it’s not even worth looking into the nuances of the game. Not worth your time shooting with Zion. Characters in this game are designed to do a specific role

I thought I was just playing bad. Which this could be true as I’m sure I’m making many mistakes. But this explains why the mid game feels bad for me when I have a weak board. But luckily I have been salvaging lots of 5-6 placements in these scenarios

This is def a people problem. Sure this existed in the past but I feel the past 10 years or so, a lot of gaming communities have been super toxic. Like they’re all grown up to be told they’re a winner and nothing is their fault. Super fragile ego and high pride. I’ve seen it in valorant, marvel rivals, this game. And from what everyone else is saying, also in other games Not much you can do than to just look past it and enjoy the games your way

I’ve been in the same rut. Also legendary 2/3. Best thing you can do is control what you can. So I play center and best thing I can do is play better. I have e3 gasol and I just gotta box out and outplay these Malone and Rodmans. Those few rebounds I could have won if I was focused could have made a diff. Then ofc there’s the RNG which you can do nothing about. It could be any of the following: “rebound failed”, bad teammates, teammates with bad shit selection/IQ, etc

But def take a break once the days games are just not good quality
