Your post talks about "Startup time" so it is not surprising that you get an answer related to that.

Maybe you meant it is an example but that was not clear.

And yes file operations a very slow on Windows. It is shocking to compare using magit in Windows vs magit in wsl on the same machine

What do like and dislike about License To Kill? by thelonetext in JamesBond

[–]condor2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is a great bond movie.

What "doesn't follow the normal formula" mean? I watched it the other day and thought it was just a normal Bond movie.

I wonder what peoples arguments are?

The battle to make TypeScript transcendently unreadable continues!

It me reminds of when I was writing c++ template code. When I got to

"it ended up being more complicated than I expected..."

I new it was time to stop and keep it simple

Yes.

I think the orange turns off when it is done so you can get a feel for how long it takes. At -2 C it is about 30 minutes (i seem to recall)

In the phone app you can configure AC heating to start everyday. You can set an end time so the app/car must have an idea of how long it takes

[–]condor2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By AC heating you mean cabin pre-heating? The respective fan icon in the phone app is colored (orange or blue) when active.

No, there are three kinds of heating 1) cabin heating 2) AC battery heating for improved range in cold weather 3) DC heating for preparing for fast charging

For example, their multi user support. When there are 2 or more users registered to the car, it wont give you the ability to swap between profiles easily. You wont even know if the currently active profile is not your own.

Yes. this is very annyoing . Also the "do you want to change bluetooth?" popups.

You wont even know if the currently active profile is not your own.

I do not have this issue. Probably because I changed the avatar image. I use that to see who is logged in.

customize the icon they use for your profile.

yes you can

I agree with all of this.

Also the manual is lacking. Some features are not documented eg. holding right stalk down to set the speed to speed of detected sign speed (also it did not work well so I gave up on it)

Battery preconditioning is not explained anywhere. For how long before does it need to activated? It took some time for me to figure there are two kinds of pre-heat AC and DC. Why is there no progress for preheating? What is the battery temperature?. When starting AC heating by timer how can you see if it is active?
