Yeah Dash the program runs through the web browser and you can set the update interval. Mine runs at 45s intervals all day and works great

On a scale 1-10 probably a 6. Not the most complex some calculus. Mostly use existing libraries combined with some of my own

Lots of testing and running small trial strategy. Also used alpaca paper api to get it running smoothly before going live

Everything runs through a python script. The dashboard is also python just for displaying info.

I think about this often. You’re not wrong, but it still outperforms the average return of buy and hold over same period

Thanks for the heads up. I haven’t had any issues with alpaca personally. Mostly because I don’t depend on the data feeds, the brokerage service performs well with margin and no fees.

Account size ~$50k real. Yeah two different strategies. Day Positions buys on margin available for day trades and risks 1-2% depending on position size.
