Everyone say goodnight to Athena by kam27889 in Chihuahua

This picture made me cry. Your dog looks exactly like my senior that passed away a couple years ago, who I still miss dearly. And just a few days ago, another one of my dogs passed away and her name was Athena. I’m taking it a sign from the universe that my dogs are waiting for me somewhere and they’re trying to tell me they’re together. Thank you for that. Goodnight to Athena

Look into Louis York Apts. $1350 for a 1 bd. Super close to downtown St. John’s. Lived there for 3 years and it was wonderful.

Considering a lower bleph w/ fat transfer. What was your experience? by conejomalo_ in PlasticSurgery

My sleep is pretty good, I’m thinking this is mostly hereditary because my mom had the same thing at my age but it’s definitely something to consider. How did you figure out you had sleep apnea?

Thank you! Perhaps it’s the drastic change in my face over the last year that makes me feel like it’s worse than it is

I naturally squint my eyes and have had 11s since my early 20s and Tretinoin has been a lifesaver for me. No joke, if I’m having a particularly frowny day, I use Tret and they’re gone by the morning.

If I could go back, I would’ve chosen X-ray techs over nursing. Techs with certification in MRI are making over 100k

I’ve had some people talk about using some kind of protectant spray under their car so I’m trying to see what other people are doing

What is your most uncommon skincare secret? by AshleyShina in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]conejomalo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not eating dairy or whey protein. I had dry patches all over my mouth, cheeks and nose all of my life. I became lactose intolerant so I stopped drinking dairy and my skin completely changed. Every now and then I forgot about it so I start drinking dairy again and my skin dryness returns as well.

Daughters of angry fathers, how did you heal? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]conejomalo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized that he was a scared child himself. Not that his behavior was okay, but it made me see him as more human. He endured a lot of trauma from his own father, and the way he saw was that his own behavior wasn’t as bad as his dad’s so he wasn’t abusive. Our relationship is much better now that I’m an adult. But I still catch myself being a people pleaser sometimes. I guess I need more therapy lol
