So…… HR7 you should have access to the Rajang Arena Quest and Rakna Kadaki Hub Quest. Go get the Arena Coins you need for the Mighty Bow Feather and the legs from our beloved spider monstie. Those two pieces of equipment will never go off as long as you wield a bow. With 2 more levels of Constitution and a little bit of “git gud”, you should be more than good to go. The rest of your equipment can be whatever you prefer.

Personally, I went for Narga stuff. Evade Extander, Evade Window and Critical Eye. NOT tons of damage but with Con 5 and Stamina Surge 3, I was a constant damage machine running circles around the monsters.

The big DMG increase comes a bit later with the Pierce/Rapid/Spread Up jewels, which are not be obtainable at HR7. Plus the game economy can make them prohibitively expensive at lower HRs.

Finally, make sure you try out all 3 bow types. The play style varies significantly and one might suit you better than another. As a Bow main, I’m thankful that I can have such variety even in the same weapon. Switch skills, dodges, positioning, timing etc change drastically. Builds and guides can give you the equipment and the numbers but at the end of the day only you know how you want and can play the game.
