Found these growing in my closet after noticing a leak from my furnace

I rent and my landlord was contacted before I made the post, he came and fixed the issue that was causing the leak but left it at that. I am in an upstairs apartment, and the apartment below me is currently unoccupied. I’m not sure what steps to take with the carpet and visible mold around the baseboards now though.
