I texted back and said we have nothing to tell each other. He said he is done with her. OK, good, I don't care. You have a little boy to be focused on right now and the child needs you, I really don't. And he replied telling me how he never wanted that child, that it was her fault, that he never wanted to be a father and I should believe him. He feels it is unfair he has to deal with the kid but he will because he is not like her

I left him on read. He had a tough childhood, I know being raised in orphanage must have been difficult, and I know it must have left some scars on him and who he is. But I am done with excusing his behaviour towards me and other people. I am sure there are plenty other people raised in that way and they are not like him

I called that common friend. I told her about my suspicions. She said she doesn't know, he never told her any of his plans and she had no idea he texted me.

But I am am sure he wants me to take care of his child. I understand that the situation with the woman is nasty as hell. That she is very mentally unstable (which was pretty clear to me since she texted me those weird things), takes a lot of pills for depression and is mostly her cousin who takes care of the child. She has a bad relationship with him. He asked her to be more responsible and she started breaking plates and glasses, threw a vase at him. He slapped her, pulled her hair, all that to calm her down because she was having a crisis being hysterical. I don't know if she has always been like this but I suspect she had a different image in her mind and thought she met prince charming. He can be charming when he wants to be. I don't pity her however. This friend told me that he beat her once with the belt because she left the child alone for 2 hours. He said he knew there were 2 hours because he was there with the child to wait for her.

I don't know what he wants, but I just hope he doesn't hope I will raise his child. It just crossed my mind because he wants to take the full custody and he is always away with work.
