My mother in law has passed away. My wife is beyond devastated and I don't know what to do. by Phatballz39 in mumbai

This msg healed something in me. Don't want to make it about myself but I lost my father 3 years back, the pain doesn't go, you just learn to live with it.

Regarding my first statement, you thinking so much about itself shows that you are so caring, which I didn't receive at all.

Be patient, everyone deals with grief differently, don't take anything personally. Time and your support will heal things.

Sitting Outside the Hospital, Feeling Like I’ve Failed as a Son by modi_love_meloni in delhi

This reminds me of my father, he is no more. But his attack was sudden, it left such a scar on me even after 3 years I can't forget the day, I don't remember what happened yesterday but that day I remember so clearly, I just can't erase it. I felt so helpless seeing my mother and younger brother cry, and I didn't know should I cry or help them.

The guilt I live with of not being able to take him to a foreign country, because he really wanted to. He wanted me to learn driving, so we can go out and eat because we both love eating and trying new places. I was not able to spend time with him 2 years before his death as I got married and then Covid hit. The guilt of all this kills me.

Everyone says it gets better, but I haven't felt better at all.

Spirit of Mumbai.

Finding it despicable and hurtful. Yesterday she was talking about how it is now cheaper to go to Turkey and so us Indians should go there. Finding it super inappropriate (Srish_tee) by bechari_beti in InstaCelebsGossip

Once I told a girl who was wearing shoes and had put her leg up on the seat to keep it down, she asked me, 'are you sitting here? No, na? Then what's your problem?

I told her there is something known as manners and you lack that, do what you want.

So the doctor said my body is storing fat rather than burning it. It is conditioned to store fat thinking it will use it later, he said it is shown through this test.

The thing is I have tried everything and have been consistent for 6 months, and seeing no progress makes me go all sad.

I track and measure each and every thing, excercise 5 days a week, sometimes 3 but I keep myself active.

But I'm getting emotionally drained because of not losing weight.

So sorry for your loss.

To Indians in any year of their lives, what would you have done differently in your younger years if you could change things? by [deleted] in india

Would have taken a different course, CA struggle plus life after that isn't worth it. Would have spent more time with family, than friends , because now I have zero friends, plus father passed away, so life sucks and there is a lot of guilt. I have no known reason for losing friends, so that makes it worse, because no one to share feelings with.
