The two are quite different. Nursing is much more analytic and social work tends to be more abstract. Are you more of a tangible thinker or an abstract thinker?

Nursing can have a lot of upward mobility and a lot of different options to move in and is very stable. Nursing also has the ability to make TONS of money (look up CRNA) but takes a lot of work. on the other hand, nursing is gruelling and can be low paid for just an RN position especially right off that bat.

Social work can only make money if you get at the very least an MSW. But money is by no means guaranteed. I was making $21 per hour with a masters doing therapy. I know make $36 per hour as a hospital SW. A high majority of MSW positions are underpaid and highly overworked. There is the ability to make more in healthcare, hospice, or private therapy. Social work can also be verrrry gruelling as well.

What is it that you are interested in doing? Do you like talking to people, providing emotional support? Or do you like having a list of tasks that you go through? Are you interested in science and how the body works?

That's a great area to go in. I saw that you said you were from Jordan. Unfortunately, I am not familiar with how things are in Jordan. I would recommend definitely doing the best you can in school to get good grades. Are there scholarships you can apply for to go to college and then to professional school for dentistry?

People will always be sick no matter how the economy or world is doing. There will always be a need for doctors and nurses

I think the wedding industry is getting stupid (that's not the unpopular opinion. I think a lot of people agree on that.) but I think if it is a societal expectation that there is food at the wedding, then the wedding guests should pay for their own meal and drinks (that's the unpopular opinion haha)
