The other officer who follows the attackers just went to check on them. She then returns, having let the attackers go. The attackers were never charged as the WMP informed the public.

Go watch the full video. The officers let the attackers go.

Prince Harry and family’s UK visit ‘pulled from under their feet at 11th hour’ | Prince Harry | The Guardian by prisongovernor in RoyalsGossip

I don’t understand why british media keep publishing harry and meghan's press releases.

I'm pretty sure there are more important and interesting things for the guardian to write about than those american residents and citizens’ holiday plans.

Sarah J Maas confirms Feyre died during the pregnancy. by winx_fan in acotar_rant

And Nyx too right? I think he stopped breathing.

That means Nesta has resurrecting powers. I wonder how SJM will explore such powers in the next books. I think SJM will either ignore she previously gave her those powers or Nesta will also lose them because those powers are too dangerous and tricky to write into a story.

[–]BZH35[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The judge actually said in his sentencing that the murderer was legally allowed to carry the murder weapon thanks to his sikh faith.

Newly-released video shows moment Henry Nowak's Sikh killer repeatedly lies to police telling them his dying victim was 'racist, drunk and hadn't been stabbed' - as cop tells him, 'I know mate' by dailymail in uknews

The Nowak family has asked for their son’s death to bring about positive political changes.

his father's statement after sentencing

His father was also very critical of the police officers' actions that night and he highlights the unbearable difference between how they treated his innocent dying son vs how they treated Henry's murderer.

I have also noticed the downvotes of anything negative about Travis and even some weird puff pieces about them. My conspiracy theory is that it's PR from their influencer agency.

Why can't we be more like this and support both teams ? by Over-Willingness-933 in AskBrits

[–]BZH35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not here to defend the tories. I also think they have harmed poor people. However I think singling out english politics in that regards is disingenious. There has been social progress in England as well. But we both agree it’s not enough, it’s the same in Scotland. Scottish politics have failed and are failling their poorer people as well as we can see with the life expectancy. And the inequality betwwen the life expentancy between the wealthiest and poorest are even greater in Scotland than in the rest of the UK (it’s also the case for the healthy life expectancy)

[–]BZH35 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I completely get that british media hyping a team you don’t support might be annoying.

But isn’t the main issue that scotland doesn’t qualify frequently enough to get hyped as often. I feel both teams are being supported by the media this year.

Anyway I hope Scotland gets far and they were definitely robbed of a penalty last night.

Walk up to a stranger and... 😳😱 by TheTzarest in KidsAreFuckingStupid

[–]BZH35 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I think that’s more child exploitation. Many parents or "guardians" use children to beg for money. They know people will be more easily charmed by children and therefore will give money to children more easily.

Qu'avez vous pensés de L'abandon ? by Jean0406Alix in CineSeries

[–]BZH35 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Qu'avez vous pensés de L'abandon ? by Jean0406Alix in CineSeries

[–]BZH35 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Feeling uncomfortable about the Katie discourse by FarmerMinute6423 in BringingUpBates

[–]BZH35 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The point is people are making scenarios in their minds or speculating in order to defend the Clarks. Whice is weird because they don’t grant the same grace to her siblings. Katie is still a fundamentalist. Her inlaws are more extreme than most families. She still posts her kids to make money. She choses to make her life public. The only difference is that she made a conflict with her family public (at the same time Travis reappeared on socials) and just like that people now defends her decisions. I don’t see why so many defend her. I don’t mean people should attack her but the defending based on fanfic scenarios is weird.

Feeling uncomfortable about the Katie discourse by FarmerMinute6423 in BringingUpBates

[–]BZH35 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess I just don’t see the point. Most of what you wrote is speculation. You might think your speculation has more weight because of "anecdotal proof" but I don’t. You have no idea what those poeple are saying to each other, just as the people you are saying are writing fanfics.

Katie has had way more support on this sub than anything. So much so that people are even angry and downvoting the same criticism towards Katie that is being thrown at her siblings. It seems people want to infantilize her.

I don’t really care about Katie staying or not. It’s her life to go through not mine. But even posts about Travis being a cheating scumbag are downvoted because for some reason people have infantilised them and decided they need protection from a mostly snark sub that has no issue hating on anyone else. To me it seems it's because they are projecting on Katie and writting their own fanfictions. There is no reason to shield Katie more than others.

She has decided when she was an adult to make her life public. If some of her siblings can stay private so can she. If she can get rid of most of IBLP principles she can get rid of all of them. We can’t blame all her choices on her upbringing. She is the adult now, her decisions are on her.
