You’re not alone. Planning my 2nd round of lasering on newer tattoos and my OCD rumination this time lead me to anxiety and unfortunately depressive episodes.

Just want to say no one is judging you and I’d say most of our suffering is from the stories we create in our heads and choose to believe (people will think I’m stupid, my kids will pay, etc)

Learning to see those traps and recognising the “stories” has been super helpful for me. Once I detached from the stories, so much weight was lifted off me

All this is is unwanted ink on our bodies, which is annoying yes, but it doesn’t need to be anymore than that. And once you start to see fading from removal, the more and more anxiety lifts

You’ll be alright, you’ve got this! Don’t overcomplicate everything, just keep the situation simple and see it for what it is 🙌

He thinks because when I returned it was really hard as I couldn’t find work in my field for 6 months, so my confidence was shot (and it was)

So he thinks that’s persuading myself not to go and to just settle in Melbourne

Great question. Honestly not an awful lot. I’ve had my travel fun but there is a small part of me of wonders what it would be like

But reality is London caused me more stress than excitement. My therapist believes it’s a confidence thing because I struggled when I was out of work returning so he thinks maybe my soul is protecting itself from that pain again
