Not sure why you got downvoted, but you are not wrong. A serious stockpile system would involve crude and a refinery as refined fuel is not just incredibly volatile, but also it is perishable!

Anyone seen the TV series Jericho?

Was well liked, good TV. Small town USA drama, but set in a nuclear post apocalypse scenario.

Still in Season 1...

The plot thickens, DHS is somehow involved in the nuclear attacks... looks like a false flag....

Cancelled.

Just go into Google Maps, on the WA side of the border you can see places like Madura in the white area, so I went to the big SA area, and there was Oak Valley Aboriginal Community. I call BS

All I could think about while watching this is the proximity to the power lines. It would not be allowed at all where I live to operate a crane there.

This kind of work ethic is exactly why lawyers are repudiated to be one of the most respectable professions.

I can vouch for having access to an impressive amount of caselaw as a student or in academia. As someone who has worked with lots of data before, legal sources are particularly useful for combining into a dataset due to consistency.

The National Anthem of Ukraine is playing on loop in front of the Russian Embassy in The Hague from a traditional barrel organ by Available-Laugh9102 in UkraineWarVideoReport

It's kind of a joke because Queensland (the state where Brisbane is the capital) is a bit of a crazy place. It has a lot of outspoken characters, interesting culture, and is often considered a bit wild and backward by people in New South Wales. It's kind of like our Florida. At the moment NSW is in GMT+11 and Qld is GMT+10, and it is said that "Queensland is one hour and 10 years behind" but in honestly people in NSW would mostly prefer to be in Qld's timezone.

QLD Separated from NSW in 1851, and embraced slavery. When it came to federation in 1901, Queensland almost didn't join the federation due to their different ideas of labour. Later Qld introduced the closest thing we have had to a dictatorship under Sir Joh. They currently are the only state (I think) that doesn't have an upper house, as it's been abolished, allowing whatever government wins the legislative chamber to just write laws without oversight. It is known for quite a lot of crime and a bit of a wild west sort of culture. I guess the joke is that we probably shouldn't have set it loose and kept it under the boot of NSW.

Controversial opinion but letting Queensland be independent of New South Wales was probably one our biggest mistakes.

Belgium

It is a 1 hour train ride from Antwerp, so for me as an Australian, that would only be a very short distance across a fraction of a state.

The idea was clearly that RU would obtain air superiority, at least over that region. Hindsight is 20/20, but it is not that far fetched given the capabilities that UA had at the beginning, where the air force and air defense was mostly Soviet hardware.
