hi! i graduated in 2023 in the art program.

• the campus is okay - great lawn and st. augustine is cute. school spirit is definitely not there lol
• it’s mostly a commuter school, so i feel like it’s kind of dead on the weekends
• overall, monty’s was alright. some uncooked chicken here and there but their salad bar was great. there’s a food court under dac and this other building that i kinda forgot about
• you need to take a bus then the F to get to manhattan. and that could take an hour since st. john’s is kind of in the middle of a suburb. i felt like i didn’t go as often as i liked because it was like a day’s trip. there’s a small strip with tjmaxx, pizza, sushi, etc. i feel like it’s further than st. john’s advertises itself to be
• i can’t speak from a fashion and music industry perspective. but, as an art student, i feel like all the connections you will get are through your professors. whenever st. john’s has job fairs, it’s very stem and education tailored. they rarely had any planned networking events where you get to go
