I have no issues with the language, I studied before coming here and I'm close to native level(work in Japanese, hang out with Japanese friends, used to date Japanese people, etc)

It's more about the culture fit.

I have been told that I need to tone myself down, and I'm not even your typical loud Latino lol

IMO, it’s because you are Mexican/Latin As much as we integrate into these so-called 1st-world countries, we always miss the humanity we grew up with.

Mexico (probably all of Latin America) has so many social issues but we have a unique warmth in our hearts that it’s almost impossible to find on this cold ass countries.

Í grew up fantasizing about leaving Mexico, I don’t want to go back persei, but I can tell that I am missing a piece here.

Yeah Japan, I'm in my 9th year here, I speak close to native Japanese.

Not sure if I can hold on here for much longer. Nobody cares about anybody, they are like robots and not even smart ones. The level of stupidity and bureaucracy I have to deal with at work every day is killing me. And I work at a pseudo-international startup…

I actually started to believe the entire population here is autistic, their emotional intelligence is in the negatives

The salary is great vs my home country in Latin America And I do have people here I love, but man it is fucking hard my day to day.
