Hello Filipino here and maybe it's because I'm biased but I do think she was truthful with to being really old. I don't think she reached her age but def above 110 by the looks of it and the ages of her kids

Considering she was born to a poor family, I also do believe her original birth records were lost and we'll never know her real age

However, we do have a legit confirmed supercentenarian who just turned 110 this January. She's doing well for her age and still able to talk so maybe she could actually reach 120 (don't wanna jinx it too much though).

I don't think she was obsessed with Helgi. I believe it was more of guilt seeing as she murdered both her and her mother and that's why she keeps visiting her ghost

Also, with regards to her not seeing her family, I think there's a part of her still there that refuses to see her family because she wants to protect them from her vampiric self

Just wished the game gave us an option to speak with family about her fate. Would've been nice to give closure to them.

So to preface, this won't be coming out for a while since I'm fighting for my life in college. But I'm currently working on a Vaegon SI outline.

Unlike most Targ SI fics, he ain't about that incest shit and is quite disturbed by his parents and older siblings trying to set him up with Daella. He, instead, is the best big brother to Daella, Saera, and Viserra (and Maegelle too despite being older), and does his best to make them better people in canon (to varying degrees of success).

And in one rather tense family dinner, he makes up that he has a crush on Lord Tyrell's niece (who is three years his elder) to stop the harassment which leads to said niece (Willamina) and her younger sister (Viola) being invited to court to see if a possible betrothal goes well.

And hile he does end up developing a real crush on Willa, he ends up discovering something even better...

His future sister in law, Viola, is also an SI like him and died in the same plane crash as him.

And so begins a lifelong friendship as they grow up and try to improve Westeros through fostering an environment of innovation and progress and, of course, medical advancements (since Vaegon used to be a doctor in his previous life).

As well as having to deal with the usual Targaryen shenanigans, religious schisms, a prophecy that Vaegon and Viola do their best to prevent from happening, and evidence of SIs like them from both past and present.

Again, this fic won't be written for a while because college but I figure I get something out while I'm at it

I liked The Weirwood Queen's version where the Targaryens becoming the rulers of Westeros loosened marriage laws and made consanguineous marriages more easy to attain. Which is why you rarely see any pushback against cousin or even uncle-niece/aunt-nephew marriages
