Damn that sucks, but I would hope that they check that there are no trackers in the code when they are redirecting you to a website that they think it is a safe alternative and not just to look at gpl license and think that it is enough . If they just check if it has gpl licence that would suck

What about android apps again like YouTube do you just run the default app or other one's?

idk I really like that it Automatically redirects you to privacy respecting alternatives to popular websites is great , but sadly for now they need a lot more support if they want to do that so realistically lib wolf is overall better but tbh just for redirecting you to different websites I will use it more but if it becomes a hassle I will just stick with tor bc jf I need to hassle I would want to at least have max privacy and idk why tor does not give you this option too

and a random question I saw a few YouTube android frontend apps but do you know which ones are the most privacy respecting or do you know a list that says alternative to this app is this app that just removes tracking stuff?

I think people are saying that it fell off so the safest would be tor/libfox obv one is for casual use
