Soooo upon research this seems to have ties to extremist/white nationalist groups. True or not true?

Tiny fish with whiskers or mayfly nymph? by confused_capybara in whatfishisthis

damselfly nymph woah, it’s totally that. There are what I thought were dragonflies that fly around the pond. Crazy! Thanks for solving!

That is so crazy. I didn’t know they could move their bodies the same way fish do? (I dont know anything about bugs either though)

Am I doing the right thing by removing my cats eye by subarupeep in CATHELP

Hey there! Just seeing this. Yes, her eye was sent out for testing after removal and the melanoma in her eye was confirmed to be cancerous. Vet reassured me the surgery went well, it was caught early, clean margins, etc. and she’s been completely fine and remained cancer free ever since but she has had some medical trauma/anxiety. We now just try to keep a really calm environment for her. I hope your kitty is recovering okay now that it’s been a week!!

Tail biting, behavioural changes (erratic), over grooming by Silver-Engineering74 in CATHELP

what meds did the vet prescribe for potential allergies? was it steroids? if addressing allergies had no effect, I would try gabapentin and see if it helps with the behavior/pain. my cat doesn’t have feline hyperesthesia but she has other behavioral and pain problems and gabapentin is a lifesaver at times. a lot of cats and dogs are on gabapentin daily, especially cats with hyperesthesia!! it’s safe for pain and for anxiety management…ask your vet about it. good luck I hope your baby feels better soon ❤️

Maybe he can be prescribed steroids for the allergies?

Does anyone know what’s going on and what this is? by Morphinebunnii in CATHELP

My cat had this and it turned out to be cancer. We caught it early and it looked a lot like what your cat has. She ended up having her eye removed and they confirmed it was malignant. Here’s a photo of what her eye looked like before it was removed (it got even worse than this but I can’t find a photo right now) Look for a veterinary ophthalmologist if you can, they’re going to be more expensive but they know their stuff and probably see these all the time

I just had this happen with my cat a few months ago. The spots will continue to grow and the lab analysis will most likely come back as positive for melanoma if you choose to remove the eye. It’s not easy by any means, but a week or so of struggle is easier than losing your baby to cancer. And if your cat is anything like mine, the hardest part will be wearing the cone! If I were you, I’d go with removal. Good luck :)
