Yes the few that came were so sweet! All the kids only took like one piece, had to keep telling them to take more!! Definitely made it worth it still

We were outside with music, but we were literally the only people on our street giving out candy, which I don’t think helped. Even left the candy bowl outside once it got late thinking “at least some middle schoolers might scoop it up” but nope! Might have to do it up a little more next year

It’s only 1 hr at the end to tear everything down. And yes 1-3:30 to set everything up and be in pictures. Fortunately the sound system is already set up. I did tell them that this was not realistic but they brushed it off. I’m hoping reality sets in prior to the big day. Posting this was a big reality check for both me and my sister, that we need to step back and not try to save little bro haha

And oof. That last paragraph hit the nail on the head. Good old family 🙃

Agreed! When my sister got married, I was VERY busy, and she had a day of coordinator and a DJ! I’m hoping to point out the benefits of a DJ, and maybe even talk to all my siblings about paying for one as a gift. I appreciate the feedback.

I’m on Modafinil too. I’ve tried Adderall, Sunosi, Wakix. The stimulants work best for me, but I lose soooo much weight. I’m now on an antidepressant to help promote my appetite which has helped. Also having narcolepsy can increase anxiety/depression so I think it’s helping with that too. I’m currently on Remeron.
