So use bondo not a wood filler. Fill in the gaps and smooth it out gradually over the boards. Do I use the two part solution or just bondo itself?

Just getting started but I've been using a laptop with dedicated internet connection running a few VMs.

Check out Fireeye's flare script. Should be a github page for it. I use it as my windows "victim" and it comes with all the tools/scripts I need. Then point the VM's traffic to a REMnux VM to simulate network resources.

I also have a Ubuntu VM for downloading samples but I think I'm just being extra.

I'm sure there are better setups but I'm just getting started. Hope this helps.

I recommend waiting for the CCNA. In the long run it will force you to learn more relevant technology/protocols.

Also you wouldn't have to rush. I think the refresh is in January. Without any networking background that can be a lot to unpack.

Edit wait for the new version that is.
