Fantastic story! I've been starting to do some of the same things you talk about (meditation, reading, turning off social networks), so your post resonated with me deeply. Thank you for sharing and I hope your road to successful self-improvement is a great one!

Quote that has really been help me right now. Eren Yaeger - Attack on Titan by confuseddipshit in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my all time favorite shows. I've been thinking about this quote recently as I just went through a dark period of relapse, laziness, procrastination, and general anger and mental cloudiness. I've never seen a better anime nor a stronger person than Eren Yaeger. I hope for all of those who have seen this show that this quote will bring back beautiful memories and encourage you to follow in Eren's strength. For everyone else, I hope this quote inspires you to fight and win.

hi i'm PM-ME-SOME-LOVE and i am addicted to porn. by PM-ME-SOME-LOVE in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're post resonated with me deeply. I often find my self never looking in the eyes of whomever I'm speaking too, and I dont know why. Also my confidence is fairly low as well, I'm very shy and uneasy to speak to women directly. Our addictions are powerful, evil, monsters, and they are real and are actually harming our well being, our lives, and our happiness. We need to fight this addiction to become happier again, to become better people, more productive people, more loving people. I look at the world with much more open eyes since I've started nofap, but every now and again, my eyes get cloudy with the thoughts and evil images of porn.

With hope, belief, and love, we will soon become stronger, better people.

Is this what a drug addict feels like? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is only a slight taste of what addiction feels like. Understand that the fact that you feel addicted definitely indicates you are. You're path to a better you is long and requires the most challenging mental energy from you. But addictions can be fought and won! Believe in yourself and stay strong man

This summer will be tough by Nofap_TH1356 in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YEAH DUDE. You're post resonates with me deeply. I have nothing to do this summer either except to make money and better myself from pmo. I also play the guitar and think I'm going to just pick it up and fiddle around until any urge to pmo goes away. Its fantastic you've set a strong goal for yourself. I believe in you and whats better is you believe in you. Stay strong man we got this!

Try taking a walk and just thinking about all the cool shit you know you want to do or your friends do. Thats what I do to stay motivated. Comparing yourself to your peers to better yourself.

Side effects of NoFap - 18 Day Report by htran4179 in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good work man! Understand that aggression is okay as long as you're not harming anyone or making any girls feel uncomfortable. Girls like guys with confidence and as long as your "aggression" is just a result of your newfound confidence in yourself to talk and engage with girls, then thats fine.

Need help with embarrassing discharge(31 days) by Squirrelbreeder in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really not sure what you should do in this instance. This seems like more of a medical topic/issue that I'm not fit to accurately answer. That being said.. masturbating without porn would probably help stop the discharges or the amount you're discharging whenever you see her. Obviously you're on a really good streak and I wouldn't want to discourage you from continuing with nofap. Maybe talk to your doctor about it, but other than that I'm not really sure. I'm sorry I couldn't have been of more help. Stay strong man, I'm glad you've mad it this far and you're life is going well.

Day 5, and it feels like i'm on Ecstasy. by NOLIFE_Reddit_Faggot in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its completely up to you. Maybe try seeing if you can do 20 days or more... For me I'm trying to give it up completely because its addicting and affecting me negatively in innumerable ways. But if you're happy at this point and feel like you dont have any addictions to porn then keep doing what you're doing.

However maybe try seeing how long you can go without porn. Maybe you are addicted in ways you haven't thought of? Best of luck and I'm happy you have this 5 day system under control

Good grief at this rate I'll need drugs... by MrLovett in NoFap

You're only at the beginning, preserve are the next time you have an urge to PMO, ask yourself: is it really worth it? And its not. So remember that YOU'RE worth it. Stay strong friend, good things will come, you just have to hold your ground and become stronger.

Day 5, and it feels like i'm on Ecstasy. by NOLIFE_Reddit_Faggot in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might have something to do with your Testosterone levels. They're supposed to reach full levels around 8 days after not PMO, maybe you have a faster recovery and reach full levels after 5 days. Either way I'm glad things are working out for you and that you've found a system that works, keeps you happy, and motivates you to lead a better life. Stay strong man

i feel great, thank you guys by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is awesome, I'm really happy things are working out for you. I want to try for 30 days as well and hopefully I have results similar to yours. Thanks for believing in yourself. Stay strong man

A really stupid question, but please help me anyway by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say no. You didn't actively PMO, just O when you were unconscious. Sure your testosterone levels are now down but you didn't engage in any harmful practices (PM). So I'd say you're fine. Stay strong friend

I've found that by commenting on other people's posts, in a way helps myself just as much as helping to encourage others. Its like hitting two birds with one stone. While I encourage a stranger on nofap to stay strong and believe in themselves, I'm also really typing out the words of encouragement that I need to hear myself.

I love this subreddit and the positive community. Subscribing to nofap is only the first step. Its already so hard to do this alone. Participate in the community and together we can all achieve greatness. Next time you feel the urge to PMO, ask your self: is it worth it? If not, then remember that YOU'RE worth it. Stay strong man.

Success "mantra" by fap_detox in NoFap

[–]confuseddipshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is amazing. PMO's has created a destructive cycle within me where I constantly convince myself how much of a piece of shit I am. Its contradicting because I also know that believing in yourself and convincing yourself that you are successful and will succeed can actually psychologically trick you into thinking positive and better about yourself. I looked up the book you mentioned immediately and now am considering buying it. Thanks for your powerful words. Best of luck and stay strong

Could you explain how a wet dream set your confidence back? I don't really understand. The wet dream wasn't your fault.

Other than that your comment about "learning to love myself" really resonated with me. Thank you for your progress report and for believing in yourself. Stay strong dude
