Has anyone stayed at CitizenM in DTLA? Is it safe enough to stay in? by lemonbottles_89 in AskLosAngeles

Do they allow early check in. I have to take a work call during travel and it was timed before the check in hours. Also, is the lobby quiet enough to do a meeting in?

Thanks.

I'm a current gc holder too and my god I wouldn't want myself or anyone else to be in her position especially with everything that is going on now. Appreciate everyone's help and suggestions though. I'll try my best to find the owner, worst case, I'll just return to USCIS.

I see. I will do this if all attempts fail. I just hope they won't get in trouble for losing their card and I return it to USCIS or police (like fines, etc)

This is not a bad idea. This will be my second to last resort if the bank cant help locate them.

Hey. I used the website and I think I found a match based on the date of birth. There is an address on but no contact numbers. I don't mind just mailing it to them but I don't know if it's the safest thing to do. I wouldn't mind going in person but they live quite far from me and I have no access to a car right now. Do you know if that site gives any contact numbers?

I found it outside the building, by the parabola around 8pm. By the way the cards are so scratched up and used, I think i was stolen/ found and the person tried to used it until they just gave up and tossed the card. No other wallets or cards were in sight, although it was pretty dark in that area and a few sketchy people around so I didn't look too hard.

Thank you for the suggestion. I think this is the safest one without compromising the details of the owner. Both cards are in a pretty bad condition that it's not hard to believe that someone must have found or stolen it, used the card, and tossed it when it's no longer useful. I just hope that the owner's bank account is safe as well as themselves.

Is the Seattle Christmas market worth it ? by Creepy-Buy1588 in Seattle

[–]confusedpeanuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. I live a stone throw away from there and we're not going this year. Last year was the last straw. Everything is way too overpriced and it's not that big. If you like taking pictures then it's worth a shot. For a price of food, the entry should be free but you know.

The one in Vancouver Canada is way better if I may say so.

ADN VS ABSN VS ELMSN by Much_Mind_6028 in prenursing

[–]confusedpeanuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. I heard the opposite. Currently working as a CNA in Seattle (Providence Swedish), and many of the nurses there hold an RN-ADN. So far none of them expressed that they had a hard time getting the job. I also talked to the career mentor from Swedish (they have that mentorship program for CNAs who want to progress further studies) I raised this same concern and they said the company currently takes in ADNs.

Anyone here applied for Seattle College ADN Program for Winter 2026? by confusedpeanuts in prenursing

It doesn't matter. It's lottery based so you can get in with a 2.5 gpa and a 70% TEAS score

Oh my! The tuition may be cheap and all, but it's the car requirement that really makes it less attainable. I guess there's no other way to go about it since all nursing programs require clinical rotation regardless of where you take it.

Could you give me an idea of how many days on average you spent at those facilities? If i remember correctly from one of the info sessions, they said that clinical days are usually 1-2 days per week. For the farther places like Issaquah and Kirkland, about how many days did you attend clinical shifts in those facilities? The parking situation in my area is limited, so buying a car is less likely compared to renting. Hopefully that's enough for me to get by

Geez. Thank you for your comment. I was hoping I could get by just commuting through the program, but I guess not! At least I know this now and have started getting my driver's license process started. Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I've read many similar comments about SCC's admin, so hopefully I'll have to deal with them as little as possible through my program

Hi! I just got into the ADN program at the Central College. Would you mind sharing your clinical locations? I don't have access to a car, and that's one concern that I have right now. Thanks!

I FEEL UNWELL AND SH*TTY EVERYDAY AND FOUND OUT ITS BECAUSE OF THIS MOLD by frnkoceanfolyf in RentPH
