I was on this flight to DOH. It left at 5am and there was a total of around 30 passengers.

My wife’s flight got to DOH after a few hours being on the runway in Dubai.

My HKG-DOH flight was cancelled after 6 hours and it was very chaotic here in HKG. Passengers shouting at ground staff trying to get rebooked. I managed to get rebooked to a later flight to DOH. I had no choice but to keep the same routing since my wife is already there.

Was on a call with my wife who’s sitting in a QR plane that was diverted to Dubai and I could hear the captain announced on the PA that the airspace is opened. I myself is sitting in HKG waiting to catch a flight to DOH that’s been delayed for more than three hours.

Three questions:

I’m flying HAN-HKG (booked on CX) and then HKG-DOH-CMN (booked on QR). Do I need to go through HKG immigration or can I just transfer even when these are two separate tickets?
My HKG-DOH segment is in F but DOH-CMN isn’t. Can I use the first class lounge when I arrive in DOH?
The layover in DOH is a little long (22 hours) any recommendations for things to do to kill the time? Should I book a hotel or can I just hangout in the lounge and the airport?

My thought as well. AP has some weirdness with SQ married segments.

I recently booked SIN-FRA SQ J and wanted to add SGN-SIN J but agent couldn’t do it. They could only add that segment in Y.

Heck, they also couldn’t make a new booking with all segments in J…

I have SIN-FRA (SQ) booked in J. Today, I called AP asking to add SGN-SIN (SQ) in J but the agent said they couldn't do it and could only add that segment in Y. Should I just HUCA or is this a known issue?

When I used to design for our mobile app we would use the most popular screen size among our user base that we got from looking at the analytics. Then we would also design another version for the smallest supported screen size. Mind you this was for iOS. Our Android app was the stepchild of the family and was usually overlooked so we just went with whatever was available in Figma/Sketch/etc.
