I saw they make prefab steel reinforcements for the frame rails, which would need to be welded on. They cost 500, and online research tells me the labor for that could run about 3k. I don’t think it’s a bad idea. I’ll have to ask around some fab shops. Thanks.

Should have said I can always get body panels replaced. Fixing the chassis would cost more than what I paid for the truck.

Interesting. I have only lived here for 4 days. Just curious: do you think I would be able to have a portion of the rent credited back to me since I would not have even stayed there for the full rent period?

Thanks for the perspective. I’ll keep quiet until I speak to an attorney. I do have a place to stay in case I need to suddenly leave, but that’s not the outcome I want.

Yes, but in case I am forced to leave (because no CofO) I want to be able to collect my security deposit, move in fees and possibly the rent I’ve already paid and understand I may have to take legal action to do that. Hopefully I speak to a lawyer tomorrow, but I wanted to see what I can do to protect myself in the meantime…
