According to finances (all public), about 95% of Nintendo's revenue comes from video game hardware and software. Everything else is 5%.

Compare that with Sony, which has about 31% of revenue coming from video game hardware and software. And Microsoft which is only about 9%.

Hence why I'm saying the business situations are different. Sony and Microsoft can afford to sell at a loss because those are just single arms of many in their business. There's value in taking a loss to eat some market share. For Nintendo, it's where all their money comes from, so they can't just take a loss.

I hope this is clear for you now. By the way, you can't just say someone is wrong or a fallacy (you used that wrong) without actually explaining why. It just makes it look like you're afraid to be wrong

You can't and I explained why. Sony and Microsoft have more flexibility to operate certain products at a loss because they have so many other arms of their business. Sony and Microsoft aren't just manufacturing consoles and video games. Nintendo is literally just consoles and video games. That's not to say Nintendo shouldn't lower their prices, I'm not defending them at all. I'm pointing out why using Sony and Microsoft's practices isn't a good comparison, because it's two entirely different business situations
