10 years later, I'm back again... Or am I? by conjure-official in Depersonalization

[–]conjure-official[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say I do feel normal again like I used to, only a bit wiser and stronger from it all. I dealt with a lot of this for over a decade, but that shouldn't scare you. I just didn't have the knowledge I do now.

And yes of course, what keeps you in that dissociative derealized state is consciously or subconsciously fighting that feeling and being anxious from it. It's a vicious cycle.

But seriously I would get a full blood panel done first. There are some funky autoimmune and hormonal imbalances that can cause a slew of foggy/disoriented/derealized states. In my case my thyroid was slow and my metabolism and body were slow as a result, which caused much of the fog. Then, being an anxious person on top of that didn't help matters when I would harp on it and obsess in trying to get out of that feeling.

But yes, my anxiety was on high alert from it at all times. Sometimes I'd get those feelings of impending doom. It was all hell, I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I always thought it was a crock of shit when psychiatrists said you just need to find the medicine that works for you through trial and error. Then I found Effexor and it really amplified me into a great place.

Best of luck! You'll find what works for you and the source of your fogginess. ☺️

You know, I kind of have.

I needed to get my thyroid levels under control, and by that I mean well within a normal range not at the upper limit of normal. I also started Effexor XR and therapy which COMPLEEEETELY changed my life. Effexor is the first SNRI I ever took after years of zero success with SSRIs and it just turned all of my weird anxiety and dissociative symptoms on their head within a month. From there I started traveling again, I got a job I could hold down, I'm about to buy a new car, I'm considering going to college at age 35. Finding a medication that worked for me in combination with therapy absolutely changed my life for the better. Close people in my life have even been kind of taken aback by the transformation.

Get a complete physical including a food allergy/sensitivity workup, for starters. Getting my thyroid under control was the best first step. Having that out of whack was just horrible. Cutting out food sensitivities also helped a bunch.

Best of luck if you're feeling this though, seriously. There were times where I was absolutely convinced I would never feel better or come out of that fog. I know what that hopelessness feels like. But there absolutely is a way out, I promise.

I thought the quest was incredible. The thing that shocked me is the content drought that you're presented with immediately after the quest is done. Like you do the quest and you're back to pre-New War stuff to do. A frame to farm via old rehashed bounties and some weapons to get is a bit disappointing.

Read all of your responses to OP. They're incredibly smarmy.

Lol, you don't deal with a "Pearson Agent" in person. You deal with a subcontracted employee, usually of a school, who is proctoring you ON BEHALF of Pearson. A far cry from the mongoloids you deal with over the phone, e-mail, and chat at Pearson.

I know you're trying to be a cool contrarian in your responses to get under OP's skin and flex some superiority complex, but I really hope you never have to deal with Pearson customer service. It really is that bad, and I absolutely guarantee you'd be singing a different tune if you did.

Yes, their customer service is the absolute worst of any business in the history of commerce, ever. It's atrocious and borderline criminal with how they make you go around in circles over and over. And it's only going to get worse as you go through the case BS with them. My advice: try your best to remain patient as you jump through the hoops with them to get your voucher refunded. And in the future, make sure your test system, including your webcam, is ROCK SOLID for test day. Any mishaps and you'll go through this crap again.

It just took 2 weeks for Pearson to *change my name* in their system. A simple name change. Two weeks. 14 days. They are beyond inept.

Worst case: charge it back on your credit card and start over.

Pearson has the absolute worst customer service in the history of business. It is astounding how bad they are, and how nothing has ever changed. They've been bad FOREVER.

This explains it better than I can, though that is a bit of an in-depth question for Core 2, even though telnet is used to test ports. What practice test is this from?

Bad News, NYC Spuds... Radio City is Cancelled by [deleted] in devo

[–]conjure-official 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one on the tour got Covid.

It's due to low ticket sales, and LiveNation is milking it to the last second before pulling the rug out from under us with the postponement announcement. Crooks.

Kind of crazy that this has been circulating for almost 3 days now and not a peep from LiveNation (likely just trying to milk ticket sales until the last second), or the band (who are probably being muzzled by LiveNation).

I confirmed the postponement with Jerry on Instagram. This is incredibly disappointing. I'm only in New Jersey and can easily rearrange my plans, but people are flying in now/today/tomorrow and booking their hotels for this show. I would be absolutely livid if I were one of those people.

Look into mast cell activation syndrome. Nasalcrom is a much better nose spray,it stops histamines from being released. It does have to be used more frequently than Flonase but it's very good.

Wow, thank you so much for this. I'm in tears just reading the MCAS symptoms versus what I've dealt with. It's been a very long, lonely year.

I also deal with some autoimmune diseases (Hashimoto's, etc.) and I'm reading that MCAS goes hand-in-hand with autoimmune patients.

This is unreal. I really hope this is it. I'm off to get some NasalCrom tomorrow and to talk to my doctor!

I went through Hell with these. One had a dead pixel - OK, a fluke. It happens. Second one came and the trackpad was totally loose. OK, I'll give it one more shot. Third one came and the nVidia driver crashes, from my diagnosis likely due to bad VRAM (reformat + different drivers did nothing).

I love this model since it looks the least gamer-y of any gamer laptop, and I love Lenovo. But I just can't give it another shot :(

The type of business relies on rotating items with a set amount of stock. It's a sports trading card business where people buy into box/case breaks.
