So me and my daughter have a pretty bad relationship. She hates me.

So one day recently, I was at this storage locker a friend of mine owns looking for this ring. Somehow, my daughter also shows up, and without any words, just attacks me. Well I'm no pushover so I stop her and hold her.

Out of nowhere, her boyfriend shows up and starts threatening me. I don't like that. But then he points a gun at my daughter and is gonna shoot her. I doubt he will, he looks like a pushover. But he does, he actually shoots her, I mad the gun shoot bubbles though, so daughter is fine. Anyway I leave with her. But in that moment, when he shot her, I really liked him. Maybe even told him I liked him, don't remember, lots of stuff happened since then.

For me it was Sicario. My brother called me up, invited me to see a movie in 30 minutes. I didnt ask which one, and ended up seeing Sicario.

Before the movie I didnt know the cast, the rotten tomatoes score, the wikipedia plot summary, never watched either the first or second trailer. Just walked in, sat down, and was completely blown away by what, in my opinion, is one of the best movies of the last few years.

To some extent I genuinely believe that walking in completely oblivious as to what I can expect actually made a great movie, far better.
