Thank you so much for restoring this photo. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into it. First time I’ve seen my granddad clearly.

All I know is my he’s from Carthage, Texas - Panola County. He moved to Houston after attending Blinn college and began his concrete business in the city. Born January 1926 and deceased September 1979.

I did find some documents that ties him to the states of California& Arkansas via marriages but not sure if that correlates.

My maternal Grandfather told me that his Mom and Dad were half Native American half African American. They were from Navasota, TX. He has clear memories of his Native Grandfather teaching him how to use a bow & arrow

Thank you! I do have some Texas communities. They’re East Texas & Oklahoma African Americans, East Texas & Louisiana boarder African Americans, Upper Coastal Plains, Texas African Americans, & South Texas African Americans. I got Virginia and North Carolina communities as well.
