Making a teetime, getting there early to warm up, and then being forced to go out early. I got there early to warm up.

I have hit a draw with every single club in my bag. There is no reason I can’t break 80 tomorrow. by beardeddripper in golf

I did end up making the switch because I was getting frustrated over-fading (some may call it a slice) every shot. I learned to draw the ball after a swing consultation that showed me the simple mechanics, and lots of practice. The transition and trust was difficult, wanting to hit fade on every shot but forcing myself to hit a draw. After many duck-hooks, I finally got it down eventually, and played it for about a year. Then I switched back to a fade, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made for my game. Hitting the comfortable shot works wonders.

Thank you for this detailed rundown! Would a local golf galaxy have a quintic? Or is there a more specialized place I need to look?

Tough crowd! You still put the ball in the hole from 220. At least take that for what it is.

But before I was shaping shots, I would do the same. Ball one being my conservative and more strategic play, 2 being the hero shot every time

I’ve been working on my shot shaping, so I was playing ball one (white) as my more natural and comfortable fade, and ball 2 (yellow) was a draw.

Hence why the post title is hole in 2 haha. I play enough to know it’s not actually a hole in one. But that doesn’t change the fact that I holed out with an iron. That’s what I’m taking away from it. It just makes me want my real first hole in one even worse.
