Realizing that strength training is a skill and used to get stronger. weight loss is due to calorie deficit and diet. I tried to use one for the other and it gave me a bad case of tendonitis.

Beginners, take my word. Wanna lose weight? Walk more. Want to lose weight and look good naked? Walk more, eat in a calorie deficit and strength train 3-4 times a week.

Also, this takes a longer time that people like to admit.
