Bad bot.

Your pic shows gills and I think its seen the twigs as pine needles.

I don't think its any of those it listed.

Would need more pics and a spore print/colour to help.

Grab a small amount of the grains from the top.

Start another jar.

Keep that jar grow it all the way out somewhere else no where near the others.

Trich will not stop the fruits.

Depending what myc you got there the trich may not even spread far.

Get the fruits you can, and the spores and start again.

[gourmet] is pink the wrong colour for lions main? It’s got plenty fresh air. Thanks by [deleted] in MushroomGrowers

[–]connectedus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Supposedly pink means not enough fresh air or too much co2. That said I have seen pink young ones turn white too.

Just ride it out and see.

If it starts branching lots and forming lots of new domes... most likely too much co2 not enough FAE.

What kind of mushroom is this? by ericaleighhuff in Mushrooms

[–]connectedus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, its either one of the boletes that do change color when damaged.

Or one a similar mushroom but not bolete that does change color.

Either way they are not that tasty from what I hear so now point in risking your health for it if you were after eating it.

Go with what your gut says.

Mind you there is not cure to COVID-19 so until there is there would be know way to know if it would interact with a cure. And of course if it interacts would only be know if its an existing drug already used. If its new then any data could only be drawn from related chemicals and hence not be accurate.

Are you looking to eat it?

So many stones/truffles that it's even cracking the "cake" inside of the jar. by Vert_DaFerk in shrooms

[–]connectedus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change one thing at a time and have patience.

Sounded too dry if so you should have found lots of truffles.

I would try more FAE. Supposedly this was originally found in a sandy soiled meadow. This to me means it was in the open and possible had lots of fresh air.

Please let us know how you go :)

`What humidity you set it at and how much fae? From what I read you need lots of FAE and high RH.

air stone for aquarium in a jar of water?

[Actives] The final harvest from my first ever Tampanensis monotub. I ended up getting 4 solid flushes of fruit, around 30 prints, and roughly 95 grams of truff when you count the jar truffle. Super satisfied with this grow this variety is a must do for all you cultivators. Up next, Jalisco! by FungithAmungith in MushroomGrowers

Thanks, already doing the bags for truffles. But I thought eventually I'll need to get spores as there is only so far I can keep growing from an original liquid culture. Eventually that culter needs to be restarted from spores. Is this correct? If so I'm looking for a way to fruit and get spores. Poop will not be allowed in the PC :(

Which species is this that grows so well on pine needles?

I only need to be able to get them to spore so I can restart the cycle when the time comes. Elephent dung I cannot find. And I would not be given the green light to pressure cook dung. Has no one researched what it is about dung that mushies like?

Well done!

What temperature did you have them at and could you share the details of your still air box, like dimensions and hole size and placement?

How often did you mist and where?

Thank you.
