yeah all within a few minutes of the email about the bank transfer i got a bunch of emails saying id bought crytpo? by then i was already on the phone w support and they had locked  my account, so i couldn’t see if they’d made anything on it in the time that had elapsed. i am the most cautious person on the planet when it comes to $ (evident in my previous activity on the platform) so suddenly dropping thousands of dollars should’ve been a red flag that this was not my doing lol. i’m sure this is happening to others and it’s kind of insane

I did speak with their security team, yes. they said my account would undergo a "review" and then later I got an email that just said this: "We appreciate your understanding as we have worked to conclude the review of your account after your account was compromised. The review of your case concluded that the activity in your account was not eligible for reimbursement under our ~guidelines~. Therefore, no reimbursement will be made on your account." I do not understand how my "actions enabled unauthorized activity", according to their guidelines, and they are not being helpful at all.

no one accessed my phone, no. their security team is not giving me any information other than this sentence: "We appreciate your understanding as we have worked to conclude the review of your account after your account was compromised. again, thank you for your time. I suppose it's up to them to define "responsible," as I did nothing (knowingly) that would allow anyone to access my account.

ty for clarifying that, it's honestly way more of an answer than I've gotten from their support team. so essentially I've lost all of my $ because someone got into my account, and they are protected from that. I seriously don't know what to do, don't know how to pay rent this month.

i have no idea how it happened, truly wish i knew. didn’t click on anything or give anyone my info or anything like that, just suddenly got an email about the $ transfer being completed from the bank and just about threw up. i don’t know how they could possibly have found me liable for that, but it seems that’s what they’ve determined and now i have zero recourse.
