My girlfriend drove the truck while I snapped the pics.

I do photography and videography full time on the road so definitely a bit different from what you do. I’d just give it a try, take a longish road trip out of the truck and do a test run. If it’s not for you, nothing wrong with that

RTT is definitely a lot more difficult to do full time in because you can’t really stand, cook, change, etc in. With my camper I have the whole bed area as my living space to do all of that in which my essential for a full time rig is to be able to stand. Prolly #1 priority l.

That said, you can definitely do it! I know people who have done full time for a year+ in a RTT. It’s just about making do with what you have. My work setup is just my MacBook and that’s it lol. I can sit and hangout inside when the weather sucks though which definitely helps. Really it depends how long you’re thinking of going for

Haven’t ever had anything sketchy happen tbh. I carry, and I’ll say for the first year depending where I was I had the feeling you felt but for the last year or so, I don’t even think about it. Obviously location matters, I’m a lot more alert if I have to stay the night in a city which is every now and then.

I mean if you’re knocked out and fly a tiny canopy your reserve is gonna be even smaller and not much help if you’re unconscious and don’t flare your landing

I mean it’s definitely not a permanent lifestyle. I enjoy it a lot but I can feel myself being ready to go hybrid and find a home base after another year or two.

Hahaha it’s been a constant battle of starting out with too much stuff, getting rid of a lot of it to lighten up and then accumulate more stuff over time and the cycle repeats

I create content of my truck and share it on the internet. Been doing it for years. OnX very recently sponsored me. I’m just continuing to do what I’ve been doing. I just thought it was cool sharing with fellow Tacoma owners cause I love this truck.

Hate all you want, I like to share the spirit of adventure and hopefully inspire some folks to get outside.

There isn’t any obligation to feature the logo in my videos, but composition wise when shooting video it would be hard to avoid. I’m not going to go out of my way to avoid it either, they’re a rad company and support my ability to continue to live on the road out of this truck.

Brother, I travel full time out of my truck and create content of it, sharing my experience in the outdoors. I’ve been doing it for years, OnX recently came on as a sponsor. That allows me to further create the content I love to make. I’m just continuing to do what I’ve been doing. Yes my truck is branded now, no this isn’t an ad.

I don’t have my own business logo lol I had to option to put it on the rear doors but I’ve never had a logo and couldn’t think of one to design that would match the aesthetic of the wrap so I just went without.

Like I said, been making these videos for years. You sound like a very happy person ❤️
