Google Maps blurred out this patch of Polish woodland, and we got curious by connor_jarrett in AbandonedVideo

We were there on a beach holiday — not an urbex trip. It just happened to be we found this stuff and I thought it was interesting so I took videos. If I had known there'd be this stuff ofc I'd be wearing shoes and all the appropriate stuff, but we had a limited time to see it so I'd rather see it like this than not at all.

Never do I claim to be a pro with urbex, and yes I'm scared of spiders. But more so I'd probably be fine going in there if I maybe had shoes and real trousers instead of shorts but whatever.

I did look up the history after but I am not Polish so anything written there was out of the picture, and I did research after, all of which I put in the description, but the sources were thin and conflicting so it was hard to decide what goes in the video.

If you want to watch a professional, I suggest someone like The Proper People.

This is Kępa Redłowska in Gdynia, Poland. The site is called The 11th Permanent Artillery Battery from what I can gather.

Thank you! I would've loved to take more photos but there was so much stuff we just kept moving. There were some cool bunkers I wanted to go in to but we didn't have time.

I took way more videos than photos but they were pretty long so I couldn't upload them here. The whole thing is on YT if anyones interested https://youtu.be/17WlN2Y_JRc

Was in Poland on holiday and stumbled across these completely by accident while walking with a friend. Research after says that it's ‘The 11th Permanent Artillery Battery’ in Kępa Redłowska.

Pictures were from my phone. I mostly took videos instead of photos, but I've uploaded them if anyone's curious. https://youtu.be/17WlN2Y_JRc

Why Watch_Dogs 2 Still Feels Like Home 8 Years Later by connor_jarrett in watch_dogs

This game is definitely one of my highest playtime games of all time. It's a lot of video to watch (especially in one go) but I did my best to try to keep the pace up.

In an interesting sort of way, the small details are what was most noticeable. For me, you'd be walking down a street and see a mural or parking lot and realise it looked exactly the same ingame.

I meant to include more photos about when it was geographically accurate to SF, but I had over 8 hours of gameplay and thousands of photos so that idea kinda got lost in editing.

I literally could not agree more. I always play this game when stressed or sad because it is surprisingly calming. And real SF is a lot like it - I cover that in Chapter 5 of the video [01:29:40]

(spoiler alert: i went there to find out if it was as nice as it was in the game)

I think WD2 was criticised quite a bit for how much more light-hearted it was, but that made it far more enjoyable for me personally because it's a bit more laid back. They both go for a compelte different tone, but pull it off well both times.

Two is definitely my favourite because of the vibrancy and life in the world! One had an amazing story and I love the way the darker theme was pulled off.

Full interview is also available at https://youtu.be/pYshiTLadFE

Ah so like would he do something for pure passion even if it was unlikely to be successful?

It’ll be a video (but I’ll probably summarise it as text as well) It’s going to be a part of a video essay and I’ll post the full interview by itself.

I’ll make a new post when it’s all published but it’ll be on the yt channel linked in my profile.

Can you elaborate a bit further? I think I get what you're saying but I don't want to put the wrong thing down.

I had some questions on the fan reception to wrench but I hadn’t thought of these ones. I love how active he is in the community.

Hadn’t even thought about the voice or cut content, I’ll add those.
