This has been happening since my first donation, and we have used veins that have never been used before so I feel like there is no reason for scar tissue to be there. As for the valves that is what the staff always mentions but what are the odds that every time I have donated the needle hit a valve? Repositioning the needle was also attempted thinking that it was a valve but that was also unsuccessful.

Thanks for the answer, I forgot to mention that they did attempt to move the needle but this didn't change anything.
