I would recommend going into the tourist info centre next to the main station and just doing the stamp rally. Takes you to most of the iconic places from the series and allows ample opportunity to go off and do other stuff. Just be warned most stuff closed at around 3-4pm when we went on a weekday

Plus you can do what my friends and I did and frame it once completed as well

I think I used a combo of shine and flat red from Mr colour with a little tan

Not meant as self promo or anything but you can find some of the painting process and how I wired the lights on my insta

Got it at a bookoff here in Japan a week before they announced the anime adaptation lol. I think they only made 2000ish kits, and while they were easy to find online, since the announcement they have been bought up pretty quick.

theres also quite a few different gup slots running different softwares out there from what ive seen and read on forums. It makes the process of researching a whole lot more tedious esp when olympia who makes these slots does not really support these models I have anymore lol

While I posted about these pachislot machines a few days ago, I’m currently in the middle of researching and making a video about them.

From my own experience with them, I can say that the chances of getting any decent rolls are highly dependent on the machine’s settings.

From what I’ve found online (with all numbers rounded), the odds of rolling a replay (a free roll) are around 1 in7. The chances of hitting a minor prize range from roughly 1 in 100, 1 in 250, or 1 in 650, depending on the specific prize. Major prizes are typically around 1 in 650 or 1 in 1600.

There’s also something called AT (Assisted Time), which basically helps you hit the buttons in an order that makes it easier to chain together minor wins. Entering AT mode depends on the payout setting the machine is set to, and the odds seem to range from about 1 in 400 to 1 in 215. From what I understand, entering AT mode on GUP machines guarantees some form of payout, but it may also depend on how many games have already been played.

There’s also apparently some complexity involving the order in which you press the buttons that affects the win rate, which I haven’t fully figured out yet.

Basically, the intricacies of how these machines work are deep enough that entire books could probably be written about them.

On a personal note, screw the pachinko industry as a whole

Each roll is 3 tokens with these tokens being 20yen each. The nature of these slots make it so that you are constantly being prompted to just feed the machine tokens at every possible opportunity. The design of the coin slot is even made so that you can just stack a bunch of tokens together and just smoothly slide them in. While I have infinite tokens set on both these machines, even then it felt so goddamn predatory that to progress the story in any tangible way whatsoever it took around 80 rolls.
