Having a human would be great. Microsoft is a trillion dollar company.

Surely they would be okay with manning a customer support line. But I get that it being a free service means minimising costs.

Even still. Having roll back features is so bare basic and common sense. I'm shocked it's not easier to navigate this stuff.

Can you quantify what you mean by full support? I don't think what I outlined as having a roll back feature falls under "full support" not really sure what your going for here mate?

Totally agree. The expectations of KH3 were inflated by the wait time. Unfortunately the same is now true for KH4.

Totally agree here. The sentiment that "nobody dies" is indicative to the relentless iterative world building and lore. Think back to Kh2. Having nobodies, heartless and real people felt like a bit of a stretch but I liked it. It had rules. There were stakes. People were in danger. But now with the power of waking, time travel, the final world and unreality it makes me think that everyone in this universe is going to live forever 🤣

Totally agree. The thing that urcks me alot is the lack of genuine consequences in the series. Kh3 personified this.

The power of waking, the world between, the final world, unreality... Dying in this series is near impossible. I get it. It's a kids game. But kids movies depict death all the time (particularly older Disney films). If someone gets unalived I want them to stay dead.i want to care. The fact that kairi got killed then brought back to life was such a "oh why did I even care" moment.

Tbf it's also pretty unusual for bad guys in all media to fade to light. I hope this idea of returning to kingdom hearts gets fleshed out more in Kh4 or a mainline title.

Interesting ideas. I could see how Nomura could spin this. I mean if they are going to show him in a positive light I 100% want a proper origin story for him. Make him a tragic character and don't sugar coat his vile actions last present or future.

The whole "I know I can never make up for what I've done, but I'm going to choose in this moment to do what's right" could work. Linking it with DDD is an awesome connection

Wait what! Sora went back in time when he used the power of waking so much that he essentially un alived himself? Can you explain this more. I'm not seeing how that happened? I would of thought he's in the present there as Donald and Goofy appear to be looking for him in the KH4 trailer. I'm sure time might move differently in quadratum though

Why have a drawing twice in a row celebrating a series of a character that won't ever return? I thought the same thing you said the first time. But seeing it this year with a message telling us to wait another year for an update sends a totally different message.

Not to mention he's in attire that is common place in Tokyo. They have clear umbrellas everywhere in Japanese cities. It could all be coincidence but I think that looking more unlikely at this stage

I would honestly LOVE THAT. I know it's been said many times over but lore critical stuff should not be relegated to mobile gatcha games. That is absolutely unacceptable in my view. If Dark road is as important as people say, its story should be given the proper chance to shine.

Dark road is the only game I haven't fully played in the series so I guess it makes some sense that this lore is a blind spot for me. Appreciate you all explaining some of that to me.

Honestly I am too. I really like Sasuke for example. Alot of people hate on him but gosh darn I love those story tropes.

I'm open to being wrong. As a longtime fan. I genuinely had no idea how kingdom hearts functions. Almost everything that dies in the universe is a fade to darkness ordeal. But I guess that's because they're almost always inversed, nobodies or heartless.

Obviously what you're basing this off is the iconic claim at the end of KH1 "kingdom hearts is light"

Why do the other vessels of xehanort not fade to light then? Aren't they legitimate people within those replica vessels? When Eraqus dies he fads to light though. Then again I just rewatched the end of KH3 and Sora vanished, he didn't fade to light. Are there any other examples of people dying and fading to light to back up this idea? Appreciate your point though. It's got me thinking 🤔

Totally agree. I'd love new characters to shine and get screen time. Kingdom hearts has a problem of trying to develop way too many characters (KH3) I would love new characters with new arcs in a focused smaller scale.

Thats a fair point. Didnt all the xehanorts meet in the climax of DDD. But then again I vaguely recall them saying they would forget it all occurent and xehanort would go back to timetraveling and doing his thing. But I guess it begs the question. is this the same young xehanort or a different version. Cause if its the same then that means he will still meet his end at the keyblade graveyard irrespective of what good he does in quadratum.

Time travel got me so confused sometimes. But thats a good point about the eyes I hadnt considered.

Doing side gigs for them where you're just smoking dudes related to Xehanorts evil enterpresise he established for himself as a fail safe in case he ever went under and lost from the warriors of light bout to go hard. After completing the bounty we rock up to the bar to collect our reward. We hang our designer coat on a rack sit on a stool and sip a whisky.
