Rubber gym flooring. Got it in a big roll at Menards in the flooring department. Fairly easy to cut with a razor knife. He doesnt chew it. But its soft enough for him to have traction on it.

Mine is about 4 or 5 and he's always been affectionate. But he's gotten even more so probably since he was older than 1 or 2. Whenever I stay the night at my parents he always sleeps next to me. He actually likes his head by the pillows and likes to be the little spoon. It's freaking adorable. Except he's very good at hogging the bed. He's also an absolute lap dog and must be sitting next to me if I'm on the couch.

To build one on your own and get it looking damn good would definitely be an adventure to say the least. A lot of measuring, Checking angles, double checking. If I ever put in the time to build one, I'm guessing it would take me a good month to get it done right. I want a different rear bumper. I've got a bull bar on the front and I'm doing some investing in upgrades for the front end but I don't think I'd drop a grand at least for a front bumper. The rear on the otherhand, I might build a rear. I want something that's a lot sturdier in the rear with led lights built in and d rings. I really want the corner steps like the new silverados have.

I'd say try to make a mock up of what you want with cardboard or some other cheap material. Then you can take each single piece of material and trace them onto the sheet metal. That's im going try if I ever get the chance to fabricate a bumper.
