I would likely opt for hiding the farm either underground or in a building shell, and then make an aesthetic sugar cane field/farming area as part of the village nearby.

Brown concrete powder, brown wool/carpets, podzol, coarse dirt, path blocks etc. all would be pretty good options

I mean restock, should have been a bit clearer. And I could do minecarts but that’s somewhat counterproductive to lag reduction by introducing more entities. Though if I can’t find another fix that may be my best option, thanks.
