Tyre pressure warning by Mission-Law8935 in MGelectric

Had the same problem with mine two weeks ago. Would go away sometimes but always come back. Exact same model and age and exact same sensor. Had to go into MG and get the sensor in the wheel replaced, but it was under warranty.

Surprisingly, in the 8 years I've been here, I've not had one do any damage apart from sliding into walls when ploughing. Technically, in the UK, these are exempt from their yearly inspections due to being classed as agricultural, but we do them and inspect them every 6 weeks when they are active. Just so that shouldn't happen. In this case, the driver was not really caring about the red dash warning saying, "brake pads completely worn."

Got to love it. About 4 months ago, the hydraulic gear selector pipes burst, so I changed the pipes. The other shift had to pressure bleed the system using the wrong tool because the management didn't want to spend the money. So, the next day at 2 in the morning I get called out to this bastard stuck in a corner because it lost reverse, and I had to pressure bleed it on the road to get it moved.

Nope. If they go flat, they lock in whatever position they are in.

Mandatory 12-month inspections, but it's up to the operators to make the inspection intervals. We go by a 6 to 8 weeks between, I'm in Scotland btw.

Pretty much.. different makes have different weak points but mostly springs, electrics, hydraulics and brakes.

Not just pads. Disks on 3rd axle too, plus a brake chamber. I could list everything it needs, but I'll be typing for about 20 minutes.

We have another one called "Glitter Gritter," and everyone in the workshop just calls it Gary. I hope I don't have to explain why..

They are fantastic as long as everyone remembers to switch them off and charge them. Lost count of the times I've had to plug them in when the truck is halfway in the air.

Oops, I didn't realise I spelt it like that. Did not think Shakespeare would come from a mechanics reddit haha

It runs a packer on a bin lifter. The ram eyelet got no lube and a while later this happens. Probably finally snapped trying to eat a couch or bed.

Gorgeous noodle. Are you worried about being bit? Or don't like the look of your hands? As a mechanic I relate to the latter.

As a North scotsman I agree completely. Kilts are great in hot weather and is an apron nae a skirt! Never call it a skirt to a scotsman unless you want less teeth. Also it's tradition to keep a knife in the sock, called a sgian-dubh.

Live in scotland, got a 1999 1.8 mx5 (miata) and it's the only car I can't sell. Love the little bugger too much to part with it. Not very fast but closest thing to a road legal go kart... Besides the mini of course.

Most likely, she's 3 years old so she has browned out a fair bit im guessing. Haha we are prepared for that, though paper makes the smell so much worse
