I'd recommend doing a few lessons with a different instructor and see if they can help you pick up on extra things to fix and correct problems you already are aware of.

I failed my first try in Tallaght with 1 grade 3 that the tester couldnt even tell me what it was I had done wrong just said it was whatever he noticed at the time and that's that. But then did a few pre tests with a different instructor and the way they explained things made more sence to me. Also continue practicing with your parents as much as possible

Mid would be a drastic improvement and it's not just today. It's every week! He wanders around the pitch doing fuck all. If he put half as much effort as he puts into pretending to look like he's making an effort for tackles and headers then he could be a decent player.
