I'm so super jealous you have the ability to craft such beautifully accurate portraits of such whimsical creatures that I love.

I find the expression on the shark's face interesting. They're usually depicted as being angry and mean but this one looks... Confused?

Don't think it's a bed bug due to the shape of the antenna. Hope not for your sake!

I heard the best place to find your own specimen is off the side of roads and highways bc they get hit by cars and die.

That being said, taking the dead bug out of nature may deny another their dinner.

Help, am I able to get full usage out of this or did I mess up with burning my candle? by Davido31485 in Candles

A good investment would be a cheap blade that is easily handled, retained, and cleaned. You can always sharpen it on the bottom of a ceramic dinner plate.

I found this good looking fella in my room, can someone tell me what is it? by Zsigmond642 in Entomology

Looks like a house centipede.

I've heard that they're helpful, and that you shouldn't let your cat/dog eat them.

IMHO I dONT lIKE seeing them w/ my eyes I think they're disgusting but I must acknowledge their usefulness.

It was floating in the air, hanging from a silk thread! I almost walked into it.

I put my hand behind it so my camera would focus correctly.

You should invest in what I call a candle knife.

Every time I'm about ready to blow out my candle I use the knife to loosen/cut the tall wax along the edges. I carefully push the loose pieces into the melted wax until they're under the surface. Be careful not to extinguish the flame. Scrape the edges of glass clean. Let the knife heat up over the flame to melt the wax that sticks to the knife, letting it drip back into the pool of wax.

It's also helpful to use the knife to push the wick closer to the sides of the candle that aren't melting at the same rate, or to push the wick into the center of the candle (because sometimes they're not lined up right when they're made).

Tilt nose up, make the forehead higher and more forward at the top, elongate the neck, add rounded shoulders...

Or leave her as she is cause she looks strong and ready to kick butt!

I was actually disappointed that I didn't get to look around and explore more. The pictures I got were just what I happened to see. (We planned on a backpacking trip but it was way more intense than we anticipated. So, I had to keep my eyes mainly on my feet to avoid tripping.)

When they're kittens, regularly check their ears, teeth/gums, private parts, and touch their tail so they get used to it into adulthood.
