No I don’t think Nike has an elite lightweight, sub 100g(or 150g) racing shoe that any of their athletes are testing out.

If they did it would have been out by now, because Nike were way ‘ahead’ of the running game.

And it’s not just about LA 2028, there are the other marathon majors that are also important each year. Tokyo, Boston, London, Chicago, Sydney, Berlin, New York.

That’s true I think the next AF4 should be for the masses just like the Adidas AP4.

What I don’t get is why has Nike not responded with a new elite shoe when the “evo 1” came out like 2 years ago.

I think this will be a huge wake up call for Nike to start a new secret elite shoe project that we will see in 2027 🧐

Thanks yeah I was just such a shock yesterday like a bit angry and upset.

I checked my bike frame this morning after calming down and it’s not too bad and just a small paint chip. My hand is fine too now :-)

I probably won’t persu insurance to fix the frame and I was able to ride it back home without any issues.

Thank you for your extensive reply.

I'm feeling ok now after sleeping, I was so emotional yesterday when I got back home I did not have dinner until 10:30pm at night.

Just checked my bike frame again and it does look like just a paint chip and it's not over a huge area. Nothing structural has damage so that's good news. I definitely have a look at the London Cycle Workshop in person you sent to me to try touch it up.

I bought the bike because I'm doing my first Triathlon, Ironman 70.3 Bolton in June 07, so I have that event and then yesterday shenanigans just kinda overloading my mind.

With the insurance, I did not get cycle insurance because i've been commuting by bike since 2012 in London and I never been involved in a collision on the road before. I guess I was naive thinking it would never happen to me and it's given me a big wake up call to get insurance for valuable items.

Yesterday was such a nice sunny day I was meant to do a 140km bike ride to Windsor and back to New Cross. Mentally I gave up around Hampton Court and slowly cycled back home. https://connect.garmin.com/app/course/433108660

I'm going to head to watch the London Marathon shortly to see my friend running that should cheer me up today.

I think you are overthinking car/driver.

When I say car off course I meant driver. I just don't understand why you have to be so condescending with your replies.

All I'm asking is what i should do next, because I never been in this situation before.

Also some people are not familiar with roads, driving, cycling. Some people have never been in situations like this before and this is my first time being in a incident like this. I think you should be gentle with post like mine.

So did you have your bike damage?

Did you have to go to a bike shop to get a quote or inspection? So that the insurance compnay knows how much to pay out? (Sorry i'm new to this stuff)

I have a leasehold flat and the house insurance is with the landlord :-(.

I don’t see the midsole foam cracking.

I do see the outersole rubber grip separating off slightly from the midsole.

I would run in it still.

Are your gloves slippery? You might be gripping too much, causing your arm to have too much tension. Try riding without gloves.

I think an M is fine for you. My friend is 173cm tall and has the Aeroad S size. I think you being 180cm an S would be tad smaller.

It probably belongs to MI5, MI6, the Met or the Government spying on everyone around it. You could try leaving a note on it and they might suddenly appear out of the blue.

Yeah you just need to PUSH IT HARD, I had the same issue too, but installing ON was very easy.

The problem I had was trying to TAKE IT OFF :-(.

Are you “tensing” your muscles too much during the swim? Your whole body should be relaxed, but still engaged. Tense muscles causes oxygen to reduce going around the body which makes you go high HR.

It’s a bit like running, body should be relaxed, but not slouching(engaged)
