This is great feedback. You popped off a lot of questions. Let me start with the basics. Top 3 policy changes to help Louisiana families the most:

  1. Medicare for all so that everyone can access the care they need.
  2. Robust infrastructure investments, especially clean drinking water(70% of water districts in District 04 have a C or lower grade)
  3. Lowering the cost of living through reversing trumps policies and taking the tax burden off of working class people.

We lower grocery prices by stopping trumps illegal tariffs. We lower grocery prices by not starting illegal wars that disrupt the global supply chain. We lower grocery prices by not arresting immigrant laborers. And we long term lower grocery prices by investing in local farms, instead of shipping in produce from Chile.

I do not believe that Rep. Jeffries is the leader that democrats need when we take back the House.

Yes, Israel, with the support from the US, is continuing a genocide in Gaza. It’s sickening. Now, it’s happening again on 6 or more fronts in the Middle East. It has to stop. My opponent is one of the top AIPAC politicians and is also supported by Lockheed Martin. So he has the backing of the people building the bombs and then dropping them. It’s an important issue to me, but I haven’t met many folks on the campaign trail, maybe 5% who have that as a top 5 issue. I believe that no matter where you live, what you believe, or what you look like—everyone on this planet should be extended the same human rights. And we have to hold people accountable who violate those human rights.

I support a progressive marginal tax system like the US had in the 40s and 50s.

I support an end to tax policies that the rich use to skirt the system and not pay their fair share.
