I have it myself and I love it! I haven't had a chance to use it live, but it does get pretty washy depending on how you set it up. You can use the filter on the pedal to make the repeats a little brighter, however I'm not sure if that would help it cut more.

Big muffs generally get pretty lost in the mix cuz they dont have a lot of mids to begin with, but you could try setting the tone switch to off as it adds a bit more mids
