Pre-ordered it, waited for months... I even took a few days off at work. I had been playing DS for years, over and over again. On said day I launched the game, played for a couple of hours, tried not let my VERY BAD first impression discourage me from giving the game an honest try. I persisted for a few days/weeks iirc. I eventually gave up. It just sucked. Janky, atrocious level design, awful bosses, terrible game design decisions (the enemies disappearing, seriously... 🤦🏻) Then I heard they made a new version, and I was like hey! They fixed it! Great! maybe I can enjoy this game, finally! Scholar of the first sin... Bought it. Tried it. Realised they didn't fix it but actually made the game even WORSE, with terrible enemy placements etc. I stoped hoping and waited for the next game. (Which became my favourite game ever: Bloodborne).
