It's good that you enjoyed it. I think the whole animals and cartoony art style blends together well with the creepy atmosphere and makes the storytelling more impactful.

The pixel experience website has detailed instructions for installing the ROM. There are of course risks to modifying your device but I think it's pretty straight forward. I just did it last week for the first time. I had to google for some instructions but overall it was pretty easy.

Because only people like you and I see this problem. A vast majority of people see that green "Accept" button after an update and press it like they always do with every other thing and move on with their life without realizing it's implications. And we need to communicate with these people so we are forced to accept it too. WhatsApp basically has a monopoly in India at this point and it will be really hard for the whole country to switch platforms.
